Firm Captures “Rising 25” Award Third Consecutive Year
For the third consecutive year, the Shaheen Law Firm was honored with the prestigious Rising 25 Award. Arthur V. Shaheen accepted the plaque from Lt. Governor of Virginia Tim Kaine in a ceremony held January 30, 2003 at the Omni Hotel in Richmond. The Rising 25 Award is presented by the Richmond Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce, KPMG, and the Richmond Times Dispatch to the 25 privately held companies who have experienced the most growth in the preceding year. “We are extremely proud of our dedicated staff and attorneys who have worked hard to deliver exceptional legal services,” stated Shaheen. “They are the ones who have really brought this recognition to our firm.”

Shaheen & Shaheen, P. C. was recently honored by The Richmond Times Dispatch, the KPMG CPA Firm, and the Greater Richmond Chamber of Commerce as one of the top 25 fastest growing, privately held companies in the Richmond area. The Rising 25 program, which is eleven years old, salutes Richmond’s entrepreneurial spirit and spotlights an important segment of our local business community. The law firm’s principals, brothers Victor A. Shaheen and Arthur V. Shaheen, were presented with a plaque at a banquet at the Richmond Marriott on January 25, 2001. Nate Booth, author of “Thriving on Change: The Art of Using Change to Your Advantage,” was the keynote speaker. Shaheen & Shaheen, P. C., which has seven lawyers and twenty-five staff in two statewide locations, was described as “a technologically advanced, mid-sized law firm engaged in the practice of real estate, personal injury, and family law.”
