W. Mark Dunn
Mark Dunn is a native of Richmond and attended The Collegiate Schools. Mark obtained his Bachelor's Degree from Columbia University in New York City, and his Juris Doctor from the College of William & Mary.
Mark has practiced law in the Commonwealth of Virginia for more than thirty years. He is a former Assistant Commonwealth's Attorney (criminal prosecutor) in Danville. Mark has served as an Assistant Attorney General of Virginia, Criminal Division. In that capacity, he represented the Commonwealth in criminal appeals in the Virginia Supreme Court and the Virginia Court of Appeals. Mark has also served as Assistant Attorney General of Virginia, Civil Division. In that capacity, he defended state employees in personal injury cases throughout the Commonwealth. Mark has represented the Virginia State Bar in ethics appeals before the Virginia Supreme Court, and has defended the Virginia State Police in constitutional torts in federal court. Mark has been Of Counsel to Shaheen Law Firm for seven years, where his state and federal practice emphasizes criminal, traffic, personal injury, domestic relations matters, and appeals.
